2 Hospitalized after Silverado Trail Accident in Napa County
2 Injured in Napa County Two-Car Crash on Silverado Trail near State Route Highway 128
Napa County, California (January 18, 2020) – Two people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in an unincorporated area of Napa County, south of Lake Hennessey, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place at around 12:08 p.m. on Silverado Trail, just south of state Highway 128.
The CHP said a silver Honda Civic collided head-on with a silver Chevrolet Cobalt on Silverado Trail for undetermined reasons. Both vehicles acquired major front-end damage upon the impact.
Two people were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with complaints of pain.
Authorities closed Silverado Trail as a result of the crash. The road was reopened to traffic at around 1:40 p.m.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
