2 Hospitalized after DUI Crash at Union Avenue and Brundage Lane in Bakersfield
2 Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident at Union Avenue and Brundage Lane; Kenneth Johnson Arrested
Bakersfield, California (February 13, 2020) – Two people were injured Tuesday night in an alleged DUI car crash in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10 at the intersection of Union Avenue and Brundage Lane.
The CHP said a truck, driven by Kenneth Johnson, was traveling down the street when it struck a white Chevrolet Camaro, which then hit a third vehicle.
The Camaro driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
Johnson was also transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The accident remains under investigation.
