2 Dead Following Car Accident at Highway 108 and Atlas Road in Oakdale

2 Killed in Oakdale Crash at Highway 108 and Atlas Road Thursday morning

Oakdale, California (March 26, 2020) – A traffic collision in Oakdale killed two people Thursday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

At about 6:54 a.m. the CHP officers received a report about the accident at the intersection of Highway 108 and Atlas Road.

According to the CHP, a red Pontiac GTO, driven by a 67-year-old Modesto man, was traveling eastbound on Highway 108 approaching Atlas Road when, for undetermined reasons, it drifted off the roadway.

The driver lost control and the Pontiac spun counterclockwise into the eastbound lane. It then crossed into the westbound lane and collided with an oncoming Nissan Sentra.

Both drivers were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities closed the highway to investigate the cause of the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the involved circumstances”, says Mr. Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. He further said that “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side”.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
