1 Hospitalized after Imperial County Crash on Highway 115 and Evan Hewes Highway

Imperial County, California (January 3, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle rollover collision Thursday morning in the area of Imperial County, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 8:11 a.m. Thursday, January 1, on Highway 115 and Evan Hewes Highway.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles rolled into a canal bank following the impact.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. One person was taken to El Centro Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
