Elderly Woman Injured in Highway 101 Crash near Pine Street Off-Ramp in Paso Robles

Paso Robles, California (March 20, 2020) – A two-vehicle crash in Paso Robles left an elderly woman with injuries late Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Officers responded to Highway 101 near the Pine Street exit after reports of a motor vehicle accident that happened at about 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19.

Authorities said two vehicles collided for undetermined reasons in the southbound lanes of Highway 101. Due to the impact, one of the cars flipped off the highway onto Riverside Avenue and came to rest on its side against a pole.

The elderly woman was pinned in one of the vehicles involved in the accident and was freed by firefighters. She sustained minor injuries.

No further details about the crash were given.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
