Apple Valley, California (April 2, 2020) – Two victims were airlifted to the hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Apple Valley Wednesday night.

According to a local news source, a gray 2005 Dodge Dakota and gray 2019 Hyundai Accent collided on Deep Creek Road and Bear Valley Road at 10:00 p.m. on April 1.

The initial report indicated that the Hyundai motorist was heading westbound on Bear Valley Road and was trying to make a left turn onto southbound Deep Creek Road at the time of the collision.

One of the involved victims was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital by an ambulance and then airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

The second patient was hospitalized at Desert Valley Hospital before being transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center by a helicopter.

A female party riding in the Dodge told authorities that her husband was one of the two people hospitalized with critical injuries.

The investigation is underway.
