Teen Arrested For DUI after East Los Angeles Bus Accident Wednesday Morning

Los Angeles, California – Following a Los Angeles bus accident on Wednesday morning, a 17-year-old teenager was arrested on suspected DUI and injuring several people.

On August 19 at around 11 am, the bus collided with a Volkswagen Beetle near Whittier Boulevard and Downey Road intersection.

The injured people on board the Bus were rushed to the hospital. Three people were severely injured however Eleven of them suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The teenager driving the VW Beetle has been taken into custody for driving under influence.

The authorities are finding the cause that led to the accident.
