Serious Injuries Reported After Coalinga 2-Vehicle Crash on W Jayne Avenue near Sutter Avenue

Coalinga, California (June 15, 2020) – A head-on collision involving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a semi on W Jayne Avenue, just east of Sutter Avenue in Coalinga Saturday afternoon resulted in serious injuries.

The initial report indicated that the pickup truck reportedly veered into the westbound lane prior to the 4:54 p.m. collision.

Due to the impact, debris scattered in the highway, and the semi blocked the roadway.

One person was hospitalized with serious injuries sustained in the wreck.
