One Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash at Milnes Road and Santa Fe Avenue in Modesto

Modesto, California (January 12, 2020) – One person was hospitalized late Saturday night after a traffic accident at an intersection in Modesto, according to officials.

The crash happened place just before Saturday midnight at the intersection of Milnes Road and Santa Fe Avenue.

Authorities said a 2008 GMC pickup truck and another vehicle collided at the Modesto intersection. As a result of the crash, the pickup sustained major front-end damage while the other vehicle rolled over.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who suffered major injuries, including a puncture wound. The patient was then taken to a hospital for further treatment. However, at this time, the name and condition of the victim remained undisclosed.

Both vehicles were towed from the site of the crash.

No other details about the accident were given.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
