1 Seriously Injured in Bicycle Accident on Highway 54 in Santa Barbara County
Man Hospitalized after Santa Barbara County Bicycle Crash on at Highway 154 and San Antonio Creek Road
Santa Barbara County, California (May 2, 2020) – A cyclist was severely injured in a bicycle accident on Saturday morning in Santa Barbara County, according to police.
The crash transpired at about 9:43 a.m. at Highway 154 and San Antonio Creek Road.
As per the officials’ reports, a Toyota Prius collided with the cyclist on the roadway. The manner at which the accident occurred is yet to be known.
The cyclist sustained serious injuries. He was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Traffic on the highway was stopped temporarily.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
