Man Suffers Major Injuries in Legacy Walk Crash on S. 43rd Street at Interstate 805
San Diego, California (February 3, 2020) – According to a local news report, one person suffered major injuries following a traffic crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Legacy Walk, San Diego County.
The multi-car accident occurred on S. 43rd Street at Interstate 805 at about 2:20 p.m. Sunday, February 2.
Police said a pickup truck had stopped for a red light at the transition when a Toyota Camry crashed into it. The force of the impact pushed the pickup truck into another vehicle.
The male driver of the pickup truck was transported to UCSD hospital with major injuries. His name and current condition were not immediately available.
The driver of the Toyota, a woman, refused transportation to the hospital.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
