Woman Dies after Fresno Truck Crash on Floral and Alta Avenues
Fresno, California (April 24, 2020) – One woman was killed in a truck accident on Friday afternoon in Fresno, according to police.
The deadly crash happened on Floral and Alta Avenues near the Fresno and Tulare county lines.
According to the police, a woman was stopped at Floral Avenue. The woman, for unknown reasons, pulled in front of an oncoming truck. The semi-truck driver was unable to avoid hitting her vehicle.
Following the collision, the car spun and collided with another truck.
The female was pronounced dead at the scene while the semi-truck driver was hospitalized in unknown condition.
It was not clear if the other driver was hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
