Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car on Copper Hill Drive in Saugus

Saugus, California (December 14, 2019) – The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday night near an intersection in Saugus.

The accident happened at about 9:15 p.m. near Copper Hill Drive and Gold Canyon Drive.

Santa Clara Valley Sheriff’s Station said the cause of the crash is under an active investigation.

The victim died in the accident. It was not clear if there were other injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities closed traffic lanes as investigators worked the scene.
