Person Struck, Killed by Several Cars in Barrio Logan Crash on 5 Freeway near Cesar E. Chavez Parkway
Barrio Logan, California (March 17, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday night in Barrio Logan, according to police.
The crash happened at about 10:40 p.m., on March 15, south of I-5 north of Cesar E. Chavez Parkway.
The police said the pedestrian was struck by several vehicles on the roadway for unknown reasons.
Following the accident, several motorists stopped at the scene of the crash. It remains unknown if the initial driver who struck the pedestrian stopped or drove off after the crash.
The roadway between Cesar Chavez Parkway and Logan Avenue was closed for an unknown period due to the crash.
Drugs or alcohol were not considered factors in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
