Pedestrian Dies after San Diego Pedestrian Accident on I-5 near Aliso Creek Rest Area
San Diego, California (February 1, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident that happened in San Diego near Camp Pendleton on Friday morning.
A pedestrian alighted from a car parked on a freeway at about 6:15 p.m., on I-5 near Aliso Creek Rest Area, January 31.
The CHP said the pedestrian tried to cross the roadway by foot and was hit by multiple northbound cars.
The victim suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
North of the Aliso Creek Rest Area was closed due to the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
