1 Killed in 5 Freeway Crash in Woodland
1 Dies Following Fatal Woodland Car Accident on Interstate 5 near Country Road 102
Woodland, California (February 14, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Woodland left one person dead Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal wreck happened at about 4:45 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near Country Road 102 and involved three to five vehicles.
One person, whose name was not immediately disclosed, died in the accident.
Authorities closed the road following the accident. The roadway was reopened just before 7:00 p.m.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
