Bay Point, California (February 9, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal traffic collision that happened in Bay Point shortly before 2:09 a.m. on Sunday.
According to a local news source, the multi-vehicle crash was reported early this morning on State Highway 4 just east of Bailey Road.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the multiple vehicles in the eastbound lanes of State Highway 4 were not immediately disclosed.
Officials declared one person deceased at the scene.
