Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Tuolumne Crash with Vehicle Tuesday Evening

Tuolumne, California – After the Tuolumne bicycle accident that occurred in the Tuolumne Road North and Cherry Valley Boulevard area on Tuesday, one person sustained major injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol stated that the bicyclist got stuck under the vehicle after the accident occurred.

On August 24, at around 5:30 pm, CHP reported that the driver said that she had struck a person who ran into her path.

After the accident, the bicyclist was taken to the Adventist Health Sonora and then airlifted to Modesto Hospital for treatment of his severe injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
