One Person Killed, Another Injured in Palmdale Collision on 30th Street East and Columbia Way (Avenue M)

Palmdale, California – A deadly Palmdale accident that occurred on the 30th Street East and Columbia Way (Avenue M) on Tuesday morning, an investigation is ongoing by the authorities.

On September 15, at around 4:27 am, a black Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling eastbound on Columbia Way when it collided with a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta traveling southbound on 30th Street East.

One man was killed in the accident while another person was injured.

The emergency crew rushed to the scene and transported both the drivers to the hospital.

However, the driver of the Jetta was not identified and died at the hospital. Meanwhile, information about the condition of VW’s driver was not released.

Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be the factors in the accident, the authorities stated.

The accident is under investigation by the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station’s Traffic Unit.
