1 Dead Following Multi-Vehicle Accident on 105 Freeway in Lynwood
1 Killed in Lynwood Crash on Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway
Lynwood, California (March 23, 2020) – At least one person was killed Sunday night in a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles in Lynwood, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at about 7:20 p.m. Sunday, March 22.
Several vehicles collided on the westbound side of 105 Freeway, the CHP report states.
At least one person died in the accident. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities closed all westbound lanes of the freeway during the investigation. The CHP said traffic was being diverted at Long Beach Boulevard.
Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided, and the accident remains under investigation.
