Woman Killed in East Hemet Pedestrian Accident on Wednesday Night

Hemet, California – An East Hemet pedestrian accident turned fatal for a woman on Wednesday night on Highway 74, and the investigation is ongoing by the CHP.

On September 9, at around 8:10 pm, a woman was trying to cross the westbound lanes on the highway when she was hit by a pickup truck, the report stated.

The woman wash heading to a convenience store when she was hit and died in the accident. However, her identity was not revealed immediately.

Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
