Woman Killed in Lancaster Collision on Avenue J and Challenger Way

Lancaster, California – Following a Lancaster accident that took place on Avenue J and Challenger Way on Monday night, one woman died according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.

A Ford Fusion was traveling northbound on Challenger Way when it failed to stop at the red light and collided with a Honda Civic. The Honda was southbound on Challenger Way and was making a left turn on Avenue J.

On October 5, at around 10:47 pm the accident occurred.

The driver of the Ford and his female passenger were both taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital where the woman was declared dead.

The authorities have suspected alcohol and drugs to play a factor in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by the Lancaster Station Traffic.
