Tyler Shelton Killed in San Clemente Island Helicopter Crash
Tyler Shelton Among 2 Soldiers Killed in San Diego County Helicopter Crash Thursday Night
San Diego County, California – Following the San Diego county helicopter crash that occurred on Thursday night, Tyler Michael Shelton, a U.S. Army Sergeant stationed in Fort Campbell between the Kentucky/Tennessee border was one of the two soldiers killed, according to the authorities.
On August 27, at around 7:46 pm, the crash occurred on the San Clemente Island, west of Coronado.
The authorities stated that the U.S, Army Special Operations Command was performing a routine training session in the area when the helicopter crashed.
Tyler Shelton and another soldier were killed in the accident while the other three soldiers were taken to Scripps La Jolla, however, their severity of injuries was unknown.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
