Timothy Skaggs Killed in Northwest Bakersfield Accident at Coffee and Hageman Roads

Bakersfield, California – Following a Northwest Bakersfield accident that happened at McDonald’s located on Coffee and Hageman Roads on Sunday night, one person identified as Timothy Wayne Skaggs, 41 was killed, according to the Kern County Coroner’s office.

On October 5, shortly before 10:30 pm, the accident was reported by the Bakersfield police at the restaurant’s drive-thru.

The victim was reportedly a transient who was lying in the drive-thru lane and was run over by the vehicle.

One officer responded to the accident and tried to lift the vehicle to rescue Skaggs but he died at the scene.

No further details were released.

The accident is under investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department.
