Hesperia Accident on Escondido Avenue and Sultana Street intersection killed Darla Soto-Vargas
Hesperia, California – Darla Soto-Vargas was identified as one of the two persons who were killed in a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Escondido Avenue and Sultana Street intersection in Hesperia.
The accident occurred at around 8:41 pm on August 14 in which a Honda CRV, a dark-colored GMC Yukon, and a white Acura were involved.
The impact was so strong that it caused the Acura to split into two. The GMC Yukon caught fire; however, it was put out by a person who came for help.
The driver of the Acura and Soto-Vargas of Victor Valley, who was in Yukon, were both killed.
Soto-Vargas’ husband and her teenage daughter suffered critical injuries, and they were airlifted to Loma Linda hospital for treatment.
The emergency crew arrived at the scene and attended the Honda CRV occupant.
The cause of the crash is yet to be determined by the authorities.
