Two Children Among 3 Killed in Earlimart Collision on Monday Afternoon

Earlimart, California – Following the Earlimart accident that took place at around 3:20 pm on September 14, in the area of Avenue 48 at Road 160, two children were among the three people who were killed.

CHP stated that a 26-year-old McFarland woman was driving a 2014 Nissan Sentra northbound on Road 160 when she failed to stop at the red signal and collided with a 2003 Toyota Tacoma traveling west on Avenue 48.

The driver of the Nissan and her two passengers, children of age 4 and a four-month-old infant were all killed in the accident.

However, the occupants of the Toyota, residents from Delano, were taken to the hospital as they sustained minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
