Several Injured in Highway 101 Collision near Los Alamos

Five Injured in Los Alamos 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Tuesday Afternoon

Los Alamos, California – Following the Los Alamos two-vehicle accident that happened on Highway 101 at Cat Canyon Road on Tuesday afternoon, several people were injured.

The California Highway Patrol stated that a vehicle was heading south on the highway when it crossed into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a northbound car.

A Cal Star emergency helicopter airlifted at least one injured person to the hospital.

Following the accident, in total, five people sustained injuries and one of the victims suffered from critical injuries.

The CHP is working to find the cause of the accident.
