Sarah Jarrell-Worden Killed in Victorville Collision on Palmdale Road and Cobalt Road

Victorville, California – A Victorville accident that took place between a 2001 black Ford Explorer and a 2006 white Hyundai Tiburon on Saturday, Sarah Jane Jarrell-Worden, 23, of Victorville was among the two people killed, the local news source stated.

On October 3, shortly before 2:18 am, a Ford was heading west on Palmdale Road when it collided with the Hyundai that was heading north on Cobalt Road which failed to stop at the red light.

Sarah Jane who was the passenger in Hyundai was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver, Jacob Michael Phillips-Short, 29, of Victorville was extricated by the Victorville Fire Department.

Jacob was taken to the hospital where he was later declared dead.

However, the driver of the Ford, Reggie Eugene Sanders, a 58-year-old transient sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Due to the accident. the Palmdale Road, west of Amethyst Road was closed as the officials worked at the scene.

The authorities stated that Sanders would be booked into jail on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

However, on Tuesday the authorities determined that Sanders was not at the fault and was expected to be released from custody after the findings.

The accident remains under investigation.
