Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Clarita Accident on Highway 138

Santa Clarita, California – A Santa Clarita accident that happened on Highway 138 is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol as one person sustained minor injuries.

On September 22, just before 6:47 am, a big rig overturned near Gorman Post Road.

According to the CHP, the driver of the tractor-trailer was trapped inside the cab after the accident and was rescued with minor injuries.

Due to the accident, CHP shut down eastbound lanes of Highway 138 near Interstate 5 and the traffic was diverted to the westbound lanes.

No other information about the accident was reported.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
