Rose Brooks Killed in Bakersfield Accident on I-5 Saturday Night

Bakersfield, California – Following a Bakersfield accident that happened on Interstate 5, just north of Sabodan Street on Saturday night, Rose M. Brooks, 69, of Seattle was killed.

On October 10, just before 7 pm, Brooks was driving on Interstate 5 when she pulled to the right shoulder for unknown reasons. She then walked into the traffic lanes and was hit by a southbound Dodge Ram pickup.

Brooks died following the accident.

Due to the accident, the southbound lanes were shut down as the investigators examined and cleared the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
