Robert Conlen Seriously Injured in Los Osos Hit-And-Run Accident; Erin Aversano Arrested

Los Osos, California – Following a Los Osos hit-and-run accident that left one bicyclist injured on Los Osos Valley Road near Sombrero Drive on Tuesday morning, Erin Aversano, 49, of San Luis Obispo was arrested.

Erin was driving a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, entered into the bicycle lane, and hit Robert Conlen, 66 of Los Osos while he was riding his bicycle.

Following the accident, Conlen was rushed to the hospital sustaining a severe leg injury.

Meanwhile, Erin fled the scene after the accident. However, the vehicle was later located at the site of another accident at Foothill Boulevard and Santa Rosa Avenue in San Luis Obispo.

The police arrested Erin on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and hit-and-run. She was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

The accident remains under investigation.
