One person suffered severe injuries in a car accident that occurred on Mesa Grande road

Santa Ysabel, California – It is still under investigation for the car accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon on Mesa Grande Road in north county. One person was injured in this accident.

The California Highway Patrol stated that a car was traveling on Mesa Grande road when it went off the road and fell almost 30 to 40 feet down. The reason is unknown.

The accident took place at around 2:50 pm on August 16, near State Route 79.

After the accident, the car erupted into frames due to the impact and fire spread burning about 5 acres of vegetation.

The injured person was taken to the hospital because of severe injuries, though the identification is not known.

No other information about the accident was provided.
