Motorcyclist Killed in Mira Mesa Accident on Hillery Drive

Mira Mesa, California – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident that took place with a vehicle in the 9200 block of Hillery Drive on Wednesday afternoon, the San Diego Police Department stated.

According to the police, on September 2, just before 2 pm, a 26-year-old man was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Hillery Drive when he met with an accident by crashing into the passenger side of an oncoming 2000 Honda Accord which was making a turn.

Following the crash the impact made the rider eject onto the roadway.

The emergency response team and medics rushed the rider to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Accord was a 63-year-old person who complained of pain and was evaluated at the accident site.

The authorities stated that there was no role of alcohol in the accident.

The accident is still under investigation.
