Pedestrian Dies after Central Fresno Crash on N Maple and E Dakota Avenues

Fresno, California – After involving in a Central Fresno accident at the intersection of N Maple and E Dakota Avenues on Wednesday night, a pedestrian was killed.

The Fresno police stated that a woman was driving southbound on Maple Avenue when she saw a man sitting in the roadway and was unable to avoid him.

The man was in his 50s who was hit by the vehicle. The accident occurred on August 19 at around 9:30 pm.

The man was declared dead at the scene.

The Fresno Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
