James Kao and Another Person Killed in Baker Collision on Interstate 15

Baker, California – A Baker traffic collision that took place on Interstate 15 near mile marker 142 on Friday night, killed James Jin Kao, 52, of Rancho Mirage, according to the authorities.

Kao was traveling on the interstate when a compact car crossed the centerline and collided with his SUV.

On October 2, at around 9:48 pm, the accident was reported.

Both Kao and the other driver identified as Isaac Martel White, 25, of Memphis, Tennessee, were declared dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
