Isaac Orton Killed in Oakland Traffic Crash on Interstate 880

Oakland, California – One man was killed following the Oakland pedestrian accident that occurred at around 7:40 pm on Monday on Interstate 880. He has been identified as Isaac Orton, 31, of Berkeley by the CHP.

The California Highway Patrol stated that the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 880 near the Seventh Street exit.

Isaac was reportedly running from the center divider across the multiple lanes when he was hit by a silver-colored Toyota Prius.

However, the involved driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Isaac died in the accident.

Due to the accident, four lanes of the northbound Interstate 880 were blocked for authorities to investigate the matter.

The CHP is investigating the accident.
