David Schulberg Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 79 in Temecula near Dugan Drive
Temecula, California – Following a head-on collision on Highway 79, a 60-year-old man identified as David Schulberg from Aguanga was killed leaving the other three people injured.
According to the CHP, a 29-year-old man was driving a Dodge Challenger northbound on Highway 79 when he crossed the solid double yellow line while trying to pass the traffic in front of him.
A 2018 Subaru Outback driven by a 50-year-old woman from Aguanga collided head-on with the Challenger
On August 16, at around 3:18 pm, the collision happened just north of Dugan Drive.
David Schulberg who was the passenger in the Subaru was killed in the fatal crash. While both the drivers and occupants of Dodge were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The authorities shared that there was a 17-year-old girl from Temecula who was the passenger in the Dodge. She sustained moderate injuries.
The investigation is underway and as per the California Highway Patrol, no arrests were made.
