Man Killed in San Jacinto Car Accident at Esplanade Avenue and Hewitt Street Identified as Angel Rodriguez

San Jacinto, California – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has shared the information about the man who was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Esplanade Avenue and Hewitt Street on Saturday morning. The person is identified as Angel Rodriguez, a 32-year-old resident of San Jacinto.

On September 5, at around 4:30 am two vehicles collided with each other as per the police report.

The paramedics rushed to the accident site and attended the victims and later transported them to the hospital for further treatment of injuries.

Angel was one of the victims who died at around 7:05 while undergoing treatment at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center.

The other two patients who remained hospitalized had moderate injuries but their identities were not revealed.

Due to the accident, Esplanade Avenue and Hewitt Street were closed in both directions as authorities investigate the accident site.

The police stated that alcohol or drugs were not the factors involved in the accident.
