Five People Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision at 70th Street and El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, California – After a multi-vehicle accident occurred on 70th Street and El Cajon Boulevard on Wednesday night, five people were hospitalized after sustaining injuries.
The San Diego Police Department said that a vehicle ran a stop sign at a high speed, crashed into three other vehicles and caught fire.
At around 9:10 pm, the accident occurred at the intersection.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department rushed to the crash site along with the paramedics and took the five injured people to hospitals.
Two of the victims reported critical injuries however other three had less severe injuries.
Due to the accident, the intersection was closed.
No more information about the accident was provided.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
