Driver Killed in Highway 85 Crash in Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale, California – The California Highway Patrol has responded to a Highway 85 accident that occurred at around 8:50 am, in Sunnyvale that killed a 45-year-old woman.

The woman was driving a 2003 Lexus on a ramp from northbound lanes of Highway 85 to southbound Interstate 280 when she lost control of the car without unknown reasons.

The car veered off the roadway into a dirt gore point where it collided with a 2015 Lexus on the connector from southbound Highway 85 to southbound Interstate 280.

The impact of the crash slammed both vehicles into a guardrail.

The woman was killed in the accident however her name and residence at this time remain unknown.

Meanwhile, the other driver a 37-year-old man from Palo Alto sustained minor injuries.
