Zachary Morgan Dies after Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 680 in Dublin

Zachary Morgan Identified as Person Killed in Dublin Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 680 near Mission Boulevard

Dublin, California (May 12, 2020) – Zachary Thomas Morgan, 20, of Fremont, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning in Dublin, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

As per the police logs, the crash transpired at about 7:00 a.m., on May 7, on Interstate 680 north of Mission Boulevard.

The California Highway Patrol said a white 2008 Kawasaki Ninja, driven by Morgan, was traveling southbound at an unsafe speed when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into a 2006 Chevrolet Impala that had stopped for traffic.

Morgan was transported to Regional Medical Center in San Jose, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.
