Nancy Sanchez Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99, Friday night

Delano, California (May 5, 2020) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the 29-year-old Delano woman who was struck and killed by a car in the area of Delano at approximately 11:44 p.m. May 2.

Nancy Sylvia Sanchez died at the scene after a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Suburban hit her while walking in the lanes of Highway 99, near Highway 155 Friday night.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
