Rider Killed in Traffic Collision on Flosden Road and Daniel Drive in American Canyon

Boy, 15, Dies after American Canyon Motorcycle Crash on Flosden Road and Daniel Drive

American Canyon, California (May 5, 2020) – A 15-year-old male rider was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday night in American Canyon, according to authorities.

As per the police logs, the crash occurred at about 9:22 p.m., on May 3, in the area of Flosden Road and Daniel Drive.

According to the officials, the 15-year-old motorcyclist was riding a Honda sportbike when he collided with an Acura sedan at the intersection. The reasons that led to the crash are yet to be established.

The boy was taken Valley hospital in Napa, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The sedan driver was uninjured in the mishap.

Intoxication was not considered a factor in the accident.

The intersection was closed for several hours due to the crash.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.
