Rider Killed in Sacramento Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99

Motorcyclist Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 99 in Sacramento

Sacramento, California (May 1, 2020) – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a vehicle on southbound Highway 99 in Sacramento Friday morning.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck along the highway, just past the Highway 50 to 99 connector at approximately 5:30 a.m.

The crash resulted in the closure of all lanes of southbound Highway 99 near Broadway up to 7:00 a.m.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
