Man Suffers Major Injuries in Clovis Motorcycle Accident on Shaw Avenue near Minnewawa Avenue and Dewitt Avenue
Clovis, California (May 3, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday morning in a traffic accident at an intersection in Clovis, according to Clovis Police.
The crash took place at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2 on eastbound Shaw Avenue between Minnewawa Avenue and Dewitt Avenue.
Police said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Shaw Avenue when he collided with a vehicle that was turning in front of him.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and performed CPR on the male rider.
The man, believed to be in his early 20s, was then transported to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. His name and condition at this time were not provided.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident remains under investigation.
