Man Killed in Stockton Pedestrian Accident at West Lane and Knickerbocker Drive
Stockton, California (May 4, 2020) – A 47-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in the Valley Oak district in Stockton, according to police.
The fatal crash took place at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in the area of West Lane and Knickerbocker Drive.
Authorities said the man was walking across the street against a red light when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The man was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
No other details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
