Ivan Ledesma Killed in American Canyon Motorcycle Crash on Flosden Road near Daniel Drive
American Canyon, California (May 5, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday night motorcycle crash that killed a 17-year-old boy in American Canyon.
The police said Ivan Joaquin Ledesma, 17, of Vallejo, was traveling southbound on Flosden Road on a Honda sportbike when he smashed into the passenger’s side of an Acura Integra sedan that was turning westbound onto Daniel Drive from northbound Flosden
Ledesma was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, where he was pronounced dead at about 10:13 p.m. on Sunday.
The Integra driver, who was unhurt, remained at the scene and was cooperative, according to the authorities.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having contributed to the accident.
Flosden Road was closed for more than five hours following the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists.
