CHP Investigating Fatal East Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on 710 Freeway near Florence Avenue

East Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash on 710 Freeway Kills 1 Victim

East Los Angeles, California (May 5, 2020) – A pedestrian died at the scene after being struck by a red Toyota Corolla on the Interstate 710 Freeway in East Los Angeles at about 2:08 a.m. Tuesday.

The California Highway Patrol did not mention how the crash occurred early Tuesday morning.

Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

The Toyota driver stopped after hitting the victim and cooperated with the law.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
