Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Paradise Valley Road in San Diego

San Diego, California (May 14, 2020) – According to a local news source, an alleged DUI traffic accident that happened on Paradise Valley Road, near Munda Road, in San Diego shortly before 9:15 p.m. on May 13 resulted in the death of one victim.

A 52-year-old bicyclist died at the hospital after a 2008 SAAB 9-3 sedan, driven by a 28-year-old man, struck him from behind Wednesday night.

The male rider was riding his bicycle westbound along the highway at the time of the collision.

Police later arrested the involved motorist on suspicion of DUI.
