64-Year-Old Bob Stockton Struck and Killed by Van on Victoria Avenue
Riverside, California (May 15, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the elderly man who died following a pedestrian accident on Victoria Avenue, just east of Horace Street in Riverside Wednesday Morning.
Mr. Bob Stockton, 64, died at the scene after being struck from behind by a Dodge van operated by a 64-year-old Riverside woman eastbound along the highway shortly before 11:00 a.m. May 13.
The initial report indicated that Stockton was out jogging with his wife, Kelli, prior to the collision.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
Detectives did not believe the female driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
